Building the First-Ever National Championship for High School Football
Partnered with Overtime and Omaha Productions to create and produce the first national championship game in high school football — a defining moment for the sport’s next generation.
Tiebreaker led end-to-end strategy, creative direction, and experiential execution, bringing together two of the top high school football programs in the country, each stacked with elite NCAA Division I recruits, for a true national title stage.
Designed as a primetime sports property, Overtime Nationals elevated high school football into the national spotlight — blending competition, culture, and broadcast storytelling at the highest level.
The game aired live on ESPN2 in a Wednesday night primetime slot, reaching millions of viewers and positioning high school football alongside the biggest moments in the sports calendar.
Results:
The first-ever nationally recognized high school football championship, setting a new benchmark for the category
A primetime ESPN2 broadcast, delivering national reach and mainstream visibility
Two elite high school programs featuring multiple top-tier Division I recruits, showcasing the future of the sport
Subway activated as the title sponsor, integrating brand storytelling seamlessly into the game experience
A landmark collaboration between Overtime and Omaha Productions, reinforcing credibility and cultural relevance
Overtime Nationals established a new blueprint for what high school football can be — bigger, bolder, and built for a national audience — and cemented Tiebreaker as a partner capable of turning emerging sports properties into marquee moments.
