Winning the Moment, One Match At A Time

As an official Team Canada partner, Degree needed to be part of every defining moment throughout the FIFA World Cup. With Canada's historic run to the Round of 16 capturing the attention of the nation, Tiebreaker built an agile content engine that enabled the brand to react at the speed of sport.

Working alongside Degree and Team Canada athlete Alistair Johnston, we developed a real-time creative strategy that balanced planned storytelling with reactive content. To ensure the brand could enter the conversation as quickly as possible, we pre-built creative for multiple match outcomes—allowing final assets to be published within minutes of the final whistle.

Across the tournament, Tiebreaker led the strategy, creative direction, design and delivery of more than 50 social and digital assets, celebrating Canada's historic performances while spotlighting Alistair's remarkable tournament, where he played every minute of every match. The result was a timely, culturally relevant content program that kept Degree at the centre of one of the biggest sporting stories in Canadian history.
